Deep Creek Nature Center

Being the nature lovers that we are we can always find a good nature center to visit! We have been to this one at deep creek several times but the kids never get tired of seeing the animals, reading what wildlife has been spotted, and watching the bird feeders.

Colin went right to the reptiles. Colin would love to have one of these guys to call his own but that will never happen as long as he is still living with Mommy!!!!

More snakes! YUCK!!

Garrett County (which is where Deep Creek Lake is ) has the highest black bear population in the country. We have never seen a real one but have heard several stories from people who have! There are warning signs everywhere and instructions on what to do if you encounter a bear in the wild. SCARY!! Can you believe Adrienne is almost as tall as this black bear???
