Our second stop in the Bahamas was Freeport, but after spending the day in Cocoa Beach and then the Atlantis the kids really had no desire to get off of the ship again. They even turned down swimming with the dolphins because they just wanted to chill. And, there really is tons to do on the ship. Plus, they had the grand idea of spending the day on the top deck at the water park. Yes, people, there are five huge slides on the top of this boat, as well as two little slides and a spash park!
Guess which mom, went down all of them... YES, that would be me! (But, you won't be seeing any picture of that!!!!)
Anyway, we had one of our most relaxing days that day we ported in Freeport, and because we were docked, there were way less people on board which made for a peaceful day.
Can you believe how high those slides are! And, they are on the 13th floor of the ship! Again, I still can't believe how big this boat was. I have cruised many times but never seen anything as massive!

This drainpipe slide was so scary!! I watched the kids go down and didn't think it looked too bad but... what I found out the hard way was the more you weigh, the faster you go!!! I was flying around that thing so fast and screaming so loud! Not one of my most fond memories of the trip. (But, my kids got a good laugh at my expense!)

You are such a brave Mom going down all those slides!! What a fun family trip!
I would give my OWN front teeth to see a photo of you in that drainspout!!! :)
WHat fun, WHAT FUN!!!
There's a waterpark on your boat?!? How cool is that?! I'm so glad you all had so much fun!
I LOVE to ride the waterslides with my kids too, and I'm definitely the biggest screamer! lol That drainspout does look pretty wild though!
