More Homemade Gifts: Stained Glass Christmas Votives

Another very simple homemade Christmas gift. We have made these before with leaf stickers and fall colored tissue paper but this time we used Christmas stickers and colors.
To make these you need glass votive (.99 from Michael's), Christmas stickers, colored tissue paper, a mixture of glue and water, and tea candles .
Sticker the votive candle holders, paint with glue, add tissue paper, paint over tissue paper with glue mixture to give a decoupage/shiny look, and drop in a tea candle. It really is as simple as that.
They really do look like stained glass and are beautiful lit up at night!
We wrapped them up today for grandparents and aunts/uncles/cousins.

I love how Emma turned her candy canes into hearts. How cute!
