The night before the night before...

We headed downtown last night and started our own little "night before the night before" tradition. Although Columbus is definitely no New York City, we enjoyed going to the nativity, looking at the buildings that were lit up, and stopping by the downtown library to see the huge Huntington train set and check out a few last minute Christmas books.
Our original plan was to drop in the conservatory for their candlelight night but when we got there it was just WAY too crowded.
We settled for a dinner out at The Japanese Steakhouse. William had never been there before and he so enjoyed watching them cook. (It kept his high maintenance in restaurants self some what entertained.)
Since I am officially shopped, wrapped and ready I am off to do a little cooking and cleaning but mostly to spend some quality time with my amazing family.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Eve!
