A Visit From the North Pole

We had a wonderful time visiting with Santa at our good friends Bill and Margot's house! They are so sweet to open their beautiful home to us during this busy holiday season. The kids have made so many lasting holiday memories writing Santa a letter, spending time with their very own (and very sweet I might add) Santa, visiting with friends, and of course, enjoying all of those yummy cookies!

Santa's arrival!

Emma ran right up and gave him a big hug.

Emma was so completely adorable with Santa this year! She had much to say and took things very seriously! She doesn't mess around when it comes to gifts. That girl had her list ready weeks ago. Have you ever read The Queen of Christmas?? That would be my Emma :)

It took a little more coaxing to get Colin up there this year, but I am so glad I did!

He is one photogenic guy!!!

Santa met his new best friend this year! Cruex was all about this jolly old guy! He followed him around like a lost puppy. Unfortunately, his partner in crime (William) was home taking a nap. But, I know for a fact that our little William would not have been nearly as friendly as Cruex. There is NO way he would've set one foot near Santa, let alone sat on his lap! NO.WAY.

I owe the picture below to Margot and let me explain why. Adrienne told me she was done getting her picture taken with Santa this year. And there was no negotiation. Period.

But, when Margot asked her to step in with friends for a quick photo she kindly obliged.

Why can't she be that cooperative with me??
