Winter Book Recommendation

Unfortunately, I have a hard enough time keeping up with my blog let alone my sidebars where I used to post books that we are reading. I miss sharing all of the wonderful literature, especially now when we are inside and reading so very much.
I am going to try and start posting some of the kids favorite books, our family read aloud, and picture books that I love.
To start I had to write about one of my new favorite winter picture books.
Snowflake Bentley is an inspirational story about a boy who wouldn't give up on his dream of photography and love of the snow.
I read it to Colin and Emma the other night and they loved it so much we ordered Snow Crystals which we are anxiously awaiting from the library. Snow Crystals has the actual photographs of snowflakes that W. Bentley took so long ago.
I am thinking we may just have to get our microscope and camera out during the next snowstorm.
Happy Winter Reading!
(BTW, both of these books are available to reserve at the library.)
