January Daisy Meeting

We met at our wonderful art teacher Juli's house for our January meeting to design t-shirts to wear on all of our upcoming field trips.
We wanted something bright and cute and that is just what we got!
The girls designed their own stamps shaped like petals and Ms. Juli turned them into a unique Daisy that showed each girls design.
They also got to choose the center color for the flower and stamp flowers, birds, swirls, smiley faces etc. wherever their creative minds chose to.
What a fun meeting and a nice change of pace. The girls are very excited to wear their t-shirts for the first time on our field trip next month.
Next month we will be taking a field trip to Dawes Arboretum followed by a pizza party, as well as having a much anticipated Valentine party! Here they are having their snack. Lined at the end of the table are the foam stamps that they made.
They practiced how they wanted their individual stamp to look on paper. I got a picture of Alison's.

Miss. Juli working her magic.

Now that the flowers are done the girls are ready to work on the center, get their troop number stamped on, and add decorative stamps to the rest of the shirt.

Some of the finished products. Aren't they so cute!!
