An Unexpected Dr. visit

I'm here. Not at Great Wolf Lodge!!!
And here's why.
Last night about nine Colin went into a coughing fit and vomited all over his bed.
He said his head hurt and he didn't feel that great. I wasn't too worried at that point because he had a cold for several days but nothing that severe. He even went to art earlier in the day, did his schoolwork, and played outside.
Then, Adrienne woke up super early with a horrible ear ache.
I knew at that point that we needed to cancel our little getaway. I knew she had an ear infection without a doubt.
So, I made a Dr. appt. for 10:45, dropped Emma off at Jen's (thank you by the way) so that she wouldn't miss her gym/swim class, and headed to the Dr. with Adrienne, Colin and William.
She checked Adrienne first and confirmed what I had suspected. Ear Infection. She also saw that her throat was a little red and did a throat culture.
While we were waiting for the results I asked her to check William, since we were there and he had been fussy the day before. Although he was sleeping fine through the night. To my surprise he had an ear infection as well.
And here's where it all went down hill.
When she was examining Colin she said his ears were clear, throat looked good, but he was wheezing a bit. They checked his oxygen levels, gave a 7 min. breathing treatment and determined that he has bronchitis. What!!! I had no idea.
And then even more shocking Adrienne's throat culture came back positive. She hadn't even been complaining of a sore throat. Weird.
So we left with two ear infections, strep, and bronchitis.
Not to mention that I am recovering from a double ear infection and sinus infection.
We are a mess over here.
Emma and Daddy are still standing strong. For now.
I was just talking to a friend on the phone the other day about how lucky we have been with illness.
Well not anymore.
So, needless to say no fun water park for us this week. Just lots of chicken noodle soup, smoothies, Motrin, movies, and TLC.
