Is it wrong to be excited when everything you had going on gets cancelled??
We had a cancelled cooking class and daisy program today and I am thinking Colin's reconciliation, his basketball game, Kevin's children's hospital event and Adrienne's girl scout meeting will be cancelled tomorrow.
I love the extra family time and it has really allowed me to get so much done in my house. I am completely caught up on laundry and my kitchen is spotless (for now). It won't last, but I am loving it for the moment.
We did some school this morning and after that it was play time out in the snow.
And what great packing snow it is!
The kids had such a blast building a huge igloo and a snowman, painting the snow with food coloring, and having a boys vs. girls snowball fight!
And now I am off to have dinner and play some Band Hero on the Wii. (In case I haven't mentioned this Kevin and I are addicted to the drums and guitar. I really think we might have been musicians in a previous life! :)

What a great day!! I am with ya on getting snowed in, sometimes it is just what the doctor ordered.
I'm feeling the same way! Every time the phone rang, it was something getting canceled and it felt like a gift :) Unfortunately my gang is still recovering from a nasty cold so we won't be enjoying the snow just yet.
