Big sisters make the best of friends

I know I have mentioned before how close William is with his "honeybee" (aka Adrienne) but he has just as much fun with his other big sissy Emma. Emma is so maternal and just adores playing with William. Yesterday when we were playing out in the snow we weren't sure if William would participate. He tends to be a slow to warm up kid and is quite the opposite of his daring brother Colin. So we were excited that he enjoyed sledding down the hill next to our cabin. He and Emma had a blast together. There is nothing like family time when you are on vacation without all of the daily stresses and distractions. I love not knowing what time it is and not really caring. We had such a great relaxing day yesterday and as I write this bright and early on Sat. morning I am pondering what this day will bring. They have a new outdoor ice rink that the kids are dying to try, so we may head there.
We are snow tubing on Sun. and dog sledding on Mon. (hopefully). The lady who works at the dog sledding place said that there is so much snow here that the dogs have been sinking on the trails. They are hoping to have the trails packed down enough by Mon. but there are no guarantees. This is the third winter in a row I have planned this dog sledding trip and I am really hoping that we will be able to go this year!!! Keep your fingers crossed!
Hope everyone is having a great start to the weekend!
