The rest of the time...

This is a little photo journal of what we were doing when we weren't sledding, snow tubing, ice skating, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. (Did you notice that I didn't mention dog sledding. This is the third year in a row we have tried to go and something got in our way. This year they had to cancel because there was just way too much snow. They couldn't get the trails packed down enough and the dogs and sleds were sinking. We will try again next year...if I'm still not too bitter!)
Back to the rest of the trip: We loved watching movies, reading, and just relaxing together. The hot tub was the place to be on these cold winter days.

Celebrating Daddy's birthday was a highlight of our trip.

I have to mention one more thing... There was a poker table in the basement of our cabin. Kevin and Joe taught all the kids to play. Why I didn't get any pictures I'll never know??? They were SO into it and eager to learn. Hmmm...do you think I have a family full of gamblers in my future?
