The girls had a blast and were SO well behaved!
We started the day off with a trip to the Grossology exhibit. Some girls were a little grossed out while others loved it!
After exploring for a bit, we headed to the workshop where the girls learned about germs and ways to avoid and fight illness. They also learned why snot is so important in the process of "trapping germs" and even got to make their own snot. What fun!!!
They really got a kick out of this and the guy who taught the workshop was so engaging and entertaining we didn't even realize we were learning!
After the workshop we ate lunch together, explored the Space exhibit, and then it was time to see the movie. By this time the girls were getting tired so it was nice to be able to sit and relax while we watched Jane Goodall's Wild Chimpanzees.
After the movie, we had about an hour left so we headed to Progress (my kids favorite), Gadgets (which was way to crowded, I have to say I was proud to be a homeschoolers today. I am not used to weekend crowds as we are spoiled and go during the week when we have the place to ourselves) and, last but not least, the Life exhibit.
Daisy Mom's, thanks for sharing your girls with me for the day. I had a wonderful time with them!
Annie, thanks for joining me. It was great to chat!
Coming up next for the Daisy girls: International Thinking Day, a nursing home visit on St. Patty's day, Easter Egg hunt, and Tea Party!
We sure are keeping these girls busy!
