Giddy for Spring!!!

Being at Innis Woods this morning really made me realize how excited I am for spring to be here. More than ever I am ready to do all these springtime activities!
On my list for April:
Slate Run Farm
Franklin Park Conservatory (The butterflies are here. They release everyday at 1:00 p.m. so it is a great time to go!)
Columbus Zoo (hopefully sometime between spring breaks and school field trips)
Dawes Arboretum
and last but not least: A trip to the apple orchard. The nature study we are starting this month requires us to go look at the flowers on the apple tree in the spring so that we can appreciate the whole life cycle of the apple.
Speaking of nature study, I just bought this book and this e-book. They are awesome and I am so excited to start this spring nature study with the kids!
