The Turtle Lady visits co-op

The turtle lady came to visit our class this morning. She has come to co-op before when I taught preschool years ago, and we have seen her several times at the library, but we never get sick of this kind of entertainment. Even Colin had to skip his book club to come and take a peek at all of her creatures. Can you tell the kids are excited? Look at all of those smiling faces.

Colin is informing William of all the new pets he would love to have.

Relaxing with Sissy. William didn't last long. He was shipped off to Montessori preschool within 10 min.

Colin and Rhyse were hypnotized by this lady. Angi, it looks like we may need an army of turtles to make them listen this well.

Yummy, dinner.

Sarah thought the pig-nosed turtle was hilarious.

I love how she set up their observation table. What fun!!!

I think Abe loved the bearded dragons the best.

Thank you for the terrific visit Turtle Lady.
And thank you again to the parents of our Mem Fox class. Your kids have been a true delight!

Jenny, your pictures are great! I wish I'd been there for the touching part. Megan had so much fun! We should have the Turtle Lady come more often and involve as many classes for that hour as possible. She's so great!
