What William loved at the zoo...

Wow, I think this past week was one of my busiest. I have lots of pictures to share but where to start??
How about this morning when I took Adrienne to the zoo for her Girl Scout workshop. I decided to take William with me to have some one on one time. Emma had a soccer game and Colin baseball practice, so it worked out perfectly.
Unfortunately, the zoo was packed so I didn't get a whole lot of pictures. We never go on the weekends, and what a difference! We will, hopefully, be making a weekday trip soon so that we can enjoy our beautiful zoo without the crowds. We went to habitat hollow and the petting zoo but my little guy was scared to go in both. He is SO much like Adrienne was. Scared of everything. So, we spent some time looking for frogs in the pond and bird watching.
We headed to the aquarium which was ridiculously packed. No picture of any fish today. Maybe next time!
Finally, the reptile house. A place with very little people, where William could get out of his stroller and explore. He loved the snakes and turtles the best.

Last, we made our way to the gorillas. I told William we could see one more thing before we had to leave, and this is what he picked. He was not disappointed. We had a great time watching these amazing creatures.
And last but not least, we snuck in to see Adrienne's troops Earth Day project. They chose Eco Friendly Cleaning Projects as their subject. Great job girls!!!!

I hate trying to go when it's busy :( We're such spoiled homeschoolers!
