Planting Flowers for Sunrise

Probably my favorite addition to our activities this year has been our monthly visit to Sunrise Nursing Home. We started in February with delivering valentines, went in March for St. Patrick's day, in April we sang songs, and this month we helped them plant flowers, visited, and played a few songs on the piano.
They are so appreciative of us being there and the people that work there are so sweet.
We are going to miss the residents this summer, but will continue with our monthly visits in Sept.
Some of our plans for next year: making homemade ice cream, pizza party, making blankets for Childrens Services, and singing Christmas carols.
We will be hoping and praying that the residents at Sunrise have a terrific summer!

What a sweet project! I'm sure they really appreciate the help and the company.

Such a nice thing to do and I love that William is getting in on the action!

(My God, Jenny, could you imagine CREUX there??? We'd be banned from helping!)
