The Downtown Library

We try and get to the downtown library once a month to stock up on the books we just can't get at the libraries closer to our home. They have SO much more at the main library. Today, after doing some school work, making our rice krispie villiage, folding laundry, and making lunch we loaded up! Between four children it is hard to get our of their with less than thirty books and with winter break fast approaching we knew we would have more time for reading. I think our total number checked out today was 43! How do I keep track of all these books? Well, let's just say I've had my fair share of fines! (Angi, I think you and I keep the library running!) Here are some of the books we are reading:

Adrienne- Harry Potter, Wizardology, Half Magic, Whispering to Witches

Colin- Harry Potter, Nate the Great, Choose your own Adventure Series

Emma- Olivia, Diary of a Worm, Dooby Dooby Moo, Click Clack Moo, If You Give A
Moose A Muffin, The Christmas Kitten, Ballet Kitty

William- Little People on the Farm (he is obsessed!)

What We are reading aloud: The Christmas Barn, The Invention of Hugo Cabret
The Advent Storybook, Humphrey's First Christmas

Hi James Family!

I just got an alert that you're reading my picture book, HUMPHREY'S FIRST CHRISTMAS!!! Thanks for checking it out of your local library. That's my favorite place too, next to bookstores!

Merry Christmas!
Warm regards,
