One morning we decided to drive to a valley in the Smokey Mountains where we heard from some people you could see Elk close up. Little did we know this drive would be close to an hour and our car would be hanging off of cliffs seventy-five percent of the time. Kevin was driving and I was barely breathing with sweaty palms and all! (I am just a little afraid of heights) Anyway...we made it there and it was gorgeous! We did see elk and we met some park rangers who let us hold elk antlers. We were amazed at how heavy the antlers were. We all agreed we were glad we didn't have to go anywhere with two of those things on our head!
