Today we went over to my good friend Margots to learn about Hanukkah. The first thing we did was make potato latkes which are fried potato pancakes. They turned out so yummy! It is a Hanukkah tradition to serve them with applesauce. We also read the book The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming by Lemony Snicket. I know I have written about this hilarious author before and once again he had us all cracking up. The kids really had fun with this book and learned a little something too!
