On the first Saturday of every month Emma and I go downtown to the art museum to do a gallery activity, an art project, and have lunch together. Today was special because not only did she get to paint a bird, look for birds in paintings throughout the museum, but the Columbus Zoo was there with live birds! The show was really neat. They brought a parrot that flew over our head, a toucan, some kind of rare ostrich, an owl and a talking parakeet. Emma informed me on the way out that this month was her favorite since we started coming to the museum. We finished our fun outing with a trip to Panera where they have the best Strawberry Smoothies! I just love spending this special time with Emma.
