Emma and I had a morning out together again at the art museum! This is something I look forward to the first Saturday of every month as I know she does too! It is so great to spend one on one quality time with her. With four kids and our busy lifestyle it is great to slow down, take a deep breath, and just relish in Emma! This month we learned about Ancient Egypt. First we did the gallery activity which was an "eye spy" (Emma's favorite)! After that she made a clay pot which was representative of the pots that the Egyptians used to store organs of the dead in (YUCK). But hey, we had a great time! Emma worked hard as always! We ended our morning together with a trip to Panera. We used to eat lunch at the museum until Emma became obsessed with Panera's strawberry smoothies (they are scrumptious)! Emma, I will be looking forward to our next first Saturday...
