Girls Club in the Woods

We got our woods cleaned up last fall so that this spring and summer the kids could go back there to explore, go creeking, and just hang out. I knew the kids would have fun back there but what I didn't anticipate was how their imagination and creativity would run wild! These pictures are of the " girls club"! In our neighborhood the girls are definitely in the minority but that just means they have to work harder to show all these boys that "anything boys can do girls can do better" (ha ha)! I was told that this fort/club they have been working on has tons to do including a balance toy made out of logs, a library made out of "wood you can write on" , and a "meeting spot" where all the plotting and planning goes on. These girls are having so much fun that hours go by like minutes and as you can see in these pictures they tend to work until dusk! Keep your creative juices flowing girls, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
