We are about to embark on a little hummingbird unit study including a lot of reading, making our own hummingbird gardens, and making a homemade hummingbird feeder.
As of now we are tracking the location of the hummingbirds as they migrate from the south.

My grandmother loves hummingbirds. Soon two or three birds will show up at her house and then before you know it, there's 15. She goes through bags and bags of sugar. They sound like big bees flying around your head. This sounds like a very fun project for your family.
