I love the natural beauty of
Creekside Park and I promised Emma when we started studying about ducks we would find a great place to go feed the ducks. I knew just where to go!
And we lucked out with a beautiful spring morning, lots of sunshine, and plenty of ducks, geese, swans and even a snake!
As you can see by the expression on Emma's face in the first picture, she was just a little excited to be there!
And an extra perk of homeschooling (in my opinion) is that we got to go as a family, invite friends, swing by the library on the way there, and squeeze in piano lessons (all before lunch).
It was a great Monday morning!!

Emma and Sarah are just plain goofy!

Look what Colin found! Yikes! Mama doesn't like snakes very much!

The swan was their favorite.

Adrienne and Liz enjoying this beautiful morning!

These geese aren't afraid of anything. I think they would have ate right out of the kids hands if I would have allowed it.

An egg Adrienne spotted on our way to the car.

Nature boy at his best!

Come on Mommy, aren't you going to follow me! This little man has an ego!!!!!
