Indianapolis Childrens Museum (Finally!!)

Well it's been amount a month since we went on our little getaway, but hey... things have been busy and you could say I am just a little behind with this bloggin hobby of mine!

Kevin had a speaking engagement in Indianapolis and as the kids are getting older one of our goals is to travel more and follow Kevin on business trips (especially if their are educational destinations nearby)!

This short trip lead us to Indianapolis where we stayed at Caribbean Cove Water Park and went on a day trip to a museum I have been wanting to visit for a long time.

I have to admit we are big children's museum fans and have been to several over the years, some our favorites have been HERE and HERE!

I was really impressed by the Indianapolis Children's Museum and because it is so close and really has something for every age I know we will return soon.

We were most excited to see the traveling Lego Castle exhibit! Colin is so obsessed with Lego's and spends hours in his room building so for him to see this exhibit was really amazing.

Our next museum... A friend (Laura) recently told me about a traveling Harry Potter exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago that we are going to try and make it to this summer.

Until then here some of our many pictures...

The Lego Exhibit

Hands on with the Dinosaurs

Trains, Trains and more Trains

The "maze of mirrors" and Carousel

Just some random shots I liked...
