Butterflies and Black Eyes

Our painted ladies have emerged from their chrysalises this week and all the kids have been so excited! They love to watch this process and look forward to it every year!
One little boy has been especially curious. In fact you could call it obsessed! He was so interested in seeing the butterflies last night that he got himself up on the bar stool (the butterflies are on our kitchen island), fell off of the bar stool, and gave himself a pretty little boo-boo! That boo boo turned into a nice little black eye for my little guy. The first of many to come I am sure!
