I realized when going through the million pictures I have on my camera right now that I had not done a posting of Colin and his baseball season.
So here it is...
It's CRAZY having three kids play ball and I have to say I have missed out on a lot of their games because I'm running back and forth between fields. I know we chose to have four kids (life is BUSY),and I love that they all want to play but I have really had to talk myself out of feeling bad when I don't see every hit or great play. I just love to watch them all!! We're doing the best we can, the kids are getting to their games and practices on time (usually) , they're all having great seasons, and they love it so I guess that is what is most important right??
Last Saturday Emma had a game at 9, Colin at 10 and Adrienne at 12 so Kevin took Emma at 8:30 to her game, I got Colin to his by 9:30, drove to Emma's game to see the last 15 minutes and was able to get to Colin's game just a few minutes late. I had Kevin take Adrienne to her game at 11:15 so that I could watch Colin until about 11:45 and then we headed to Adrienne's game.
It was so nice to sit and watch Colin because I feel like out of everyone for some reason I have missed his games the most! (And that does not go unnoticed, he let me know that I was to stay the whole game!!) He got some great hits! He has come so far from last year with his hitting, fielding, and just overall understanding of the game! It's amazing what a difference a year makes! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you Colin, and so happy you love this great game of baseball as much as we do!!

Oh, I know, I understand, I feel it too. I missed tons of soccer this season due to staying home with the Littles instead of chasing them through muddy fields. I felt terrible each time, too. But...we're only ONE Mama! We have to do our best...and then let it go. They know we love them...
And Colin looks so grown up in these pictures! I never really see him in athletic mode; he's just a little pro-baller out there!
You are a good Mama! It is rough running them around and not being there for everything, but they know it not your choice to miss. We all know about the craziness, do what ya can, and try not worry about the rest! (Easier said then done, huh?)
