Nature Boy does Nature Camp

Colin was in Nature Camp at Sharon Woods all week and really enjoyed himself.
It started off a little rocky when Kevin took him the first day and he was just a little worried about being gone for seven hours (the camp was from 8:30-3:45) but once he got over that, and stopped worrying about what he would be missing out on with his friends in the neighborhood he had a great time!
I think it helped that his best buddy Rhyse was attending with him!
It was a week of catching bugs, fishing, creeking, cooking hot dogs and smores on the campfire, playing lots of games, some crafts and lots of fun!!!
The naturalists at Sharon Woods are my favorite of all the Metro Parks! I feel so lucky to have this park system here in Columbus! There are SO many great programs to take advantage of!
I am glad that Colin loved camp so much but he and I will both be happy when Mon. morning rolls around and we don't have to be out the door at 8 a.m. (we are spoiled homeschoolers who are not used to this schedule)!
