Volunteen Program at the Library

Adrienne has her first day of "work" today at the library!
Because she homeschools she gets to work this week (the week before school gets out) to help set up for the summer reading program.
She is so excited and I know this is going to be a great learning experience for her!
She attended a training session and I learned from the paperwork that they really take this Volunteen program seriously. The kids have to log in on the computer on their own, keep track of their hours, call in themselves if they cannot make it, sign up for shifts on their own, show up on time, and work a certain number of hours per week! Hopefully this will be the first of many volunteer positions that will teach Adrienne great work ethic in a positive environment.
