We went to the Japanese Steak House with our good friends the Millers.
The kids loved it! They had a wonderful time together and were so well behaved.
My mom came over to babysit William so it was actually relaxing for Kevin and I. Sounds kind of weird considering we had eight kids between our two families. It really made me look forward to when William is just a little older and we can do things like this as a whole family. (Right now he is a nightmare at restaurants!)
When we returned home my brother and his adorable dog Ricky were there to greet us! What a pleasant surprise! He lives in Indiana and we weren't expecting him in town until today.
To top the night off, I was reading to the kids out on the deck when huge fireworks started literally right out our back door!
We think the neighbors one street over were setting them off in the fields at the front of our neighborhood. These weren't just some dinky fire crackers either. They were loud and giant! Just the way we like them!
The kids stayed up a little later than I would have liked considering Adrienne had to meet her softball team to be in the Gahanna parade at 9 a.m. but we made it and there will be many more photos of today to come...
Adrienne and Kyle talked and laughed the whole time.
Giving Daddy chopstick bunny ears. Notice Ethan in the corner next to Kevin. They had to talk business. Ethan wants to go into commercial real estate and Kevin is a bottomless pit of info.
Cute, giggly girls.
Lindy and Adrienne are so much alike!
Colin getting goofy with the chopsticks. (You can't tell but his shirt and head are wet from sticking his head into one of their water fountains. Did I say earlier that they were WELL behaved??)
