Oh yes the title is right I have "acquired" a litter of three little kittens and their mama.
When Kevin and I were walking one night we spotted them and showed the kids.
It was love at first sight! My kids instantly became attached and got to work on brainstorming ways to keep these little guys.
"We can keep them in the woods", "They'll be outdoor pets and all the neighborhood kids will help take care of them", "Everyone is going to be so sad if we get rid of them", "We've all spent so much time working to make a house, bed and toys for them", and finally "This is the best thing that has ever happened to us".
Yes, emotions are running really high over these little kittens!!!
And so far, being the soft-hearted,(without back bone) mama that I am, I have agreed to keep two as outdoor pets. (Still need to find homes for two!!!!)
Yes, I know I am crazy no need to comment about that, but to be honest I was the same way as a kid! I fell in love with every animal imaginable and wanted to rescue every animal in sight so I can relate to how they feel.
So for now... I am the proud "grandma" of these little cuties. :)

They would have had me at the building of the kitten house, so cute!!!!
Well, you know what I'm going to say :) Am I surprised?
Uhhhh, NO! :)
I told you the other day that you were going to have a few more pets and you tried to deny it but I could see wiggle room! Haha!
You ARE crazy my friend, but you have a huge heart and...you definitely made some kids very happy. Look at those smiles!
PS, if you offer a kitten to my kids, I will strangle you. XO
That cat house is so cute! They did a good job!
I was showing your pictures to Megan...she so loves kittens :) We can't have any because of my allergies otherwise I'm sure I'd be taking one off your hands!
Laura,
You should bring her over one afternoon to meet the kittens. They are very friendly and LOVE kids! And my kids love to show them off!!!
I'll have to do that! She'd love it! Thank you :)
