Slate Run Park and Farm

The metro parks are becoming a second home for us and we're loving it!
This week we went to Slate Run park first to hike, then ate a picnic lunch and headed to the historical farm for the afternoon!
What a beautiful day it was and what great family time this has been for us!
We are going to try a new park we've never been to before this Sunday.
We're going to Battelle Darby Creek in Galloway. I've never even ventured to that side of town so it will be an adventure!
Can't wait to spend another Sunday enjoying the great outdoors with my favorite people!!!

Oh, yes he DID chase all those geese right into the water.

These two are two little peas in a pod and just this week William started saying "EMMA"!
His vocabulary is exploding right now and it is so stinkin cute!!!

Colin spotted turtles, frogs, and a BIG snake.

We found lots of racoon tracks.

Checking out the gardens.

William was OBSESSED with the marbles. Can you see the intensity in his face??

Some favorite pioneer games.

Emma loved the horses.

This was one STINKY pig!!!!!!!!!

Making pig food.
