My little girl turned six! Wasn't Adrienne six like last week? I just cannot believe that my baby girl is so old!
We celebrated her birthday with her favorite breakfast (donuts) and opening gifts as a family.
Another tradition around here, no school work for the whole family! So with the day off of school we headed to a field trip as Cosi, but other than that and a YUMMY dinner at the Olive Garden with my parents, it was a pretty relaxed day. Just the way Emma wanted. If it was up to her she wouldn't have left the house the entire day.
She will be bouncing it up with friends on Sunday at Kingdom of Bounce, which she is (to say the least) just a little pumped up about.
I have so many old baby pictures of her I want to post but they are all on Kevin's computer and he has been all consumed with work which means I am allowed no where near that lap top. (Hoping to get a chance to do that this weekend) but until then...
A note to Emma... my sweet, caring, loving, energetic, snugly, helpful, compassionate little girl:
I love you more than any words can express! I loved spending your birthday with you! I had fun going on your "last 5 year old walk" the night before the big day, and telling you about the day you were born. I am so glad you loved all your gifts and I am looking forward to spending many more birthdays with you! Love always, Mommy.
