He started off with a trip to Home Depot. It just happened to be that his birthday fell on the first Sat. of the month so he was able to do one of his favorite classes on his big day! This month he made a cute wagon with Christmas stickers on it.
After returning from Home Depot he opened some gifts from us, his favorite being a set of hand bells. He loved his music class at co-op so much that he requested his own set of bells to practice on at home. The rest of the day consisted of some play time with neighborhood friends and awaiting the big party.Colin was so excited ALL day for his party to begin. This was his first big party with friends. For the last few years we have gone to indoor water parks for his b-day as a family but this year he was requesting to spend time with friends so we decided on a bowling party.
All the kids had a great time bowling, eating pizza and ice cream, playing mini-golf, and playing some games in the arcade.
Things got a little rowdy and very loud at times. Some of these kids know each other so well and feel VERY comfortable around one another, and that combo resulted in some rowdy fun!
I tried to narrow the pictures down because as usual my camera got quite the work out.
Here are some of my favorites.
Building at Home Depot.
Opening his hand bells.
Anna and Adrienne greeted the guests at the bowling alley.
This is a crazy bunch of boys!
Adrienne and Mary.
Sisterly love.
Colin and Shawn. I don't know if Colin was tired or what but in all of pictures he looks like he is about to fall asleep.
Emma and Josie had tons of fun together.
Thank you for coming Nana and Papa.
Colin and Bailey.
Here they are enjoying pizza and ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Colin's favorite.
Colin and Rhyse digging into their pizza. Those two can eat!!!
Chad and Nickolas acting silly.
Don't ya love the Monster's Vs. Alien's cake!
Evan and Nickolas had such a great time playing air hockey.
The three boys at home after the party. Rhyse got to spend the night and unfortunately they got tortured by William for a short while before he went off to bed.
Gaga stayed to watch William during the party. When we arrived home Colin got to open the gifts from her. She got him one of his favorite Lego sets of the night.
It was such a great day and so nice to hear these words come out of Colin's mouth "This was the most AWESOME birthday EVER!!! Thank you so much!!".
Music to my ears.

Nicholas had so much fun! Thank you for inviting him :) I'm very glad to see that Colin had a wonderful birthday!
Oh my goodness--what a GREAT picture you snapped of the boys with William! I'm hijacking it!!
And thank you for having Rhyse over (and for including him in your St. Nicolas fun). He had a great time and considers Kevin a REALLY GREAT FRIEND which just cracks me up! Seriously, he loved hanging out with Colin and his daddy.
Glad Colin had such a wonderful birthday. He's an amazing boy--and we're so very thankful for him in our lives.
Happy Birthday, Colin!!
