Kevin and I went there on our honeymoon and have always talked about taking the kids back, but it is just so expensive, and there are so many other places we would like to go as well so...we were thrilled to find out we could swing by for the day and share this amazing place with our children.
I have to say it was a little weird being back there with our four kids. It really made us realize how much we have accomplished since our marriage 11 years ago.
The place is just absolutely enormous and I think there were several times when one or all of my kids were speechless.
Between the mile long lazy river ride (which ain't really that lazy, I was thinking when I got on my little floaty that it would be relaxing, but I should have know this place would turn their lazy river into a white water rafting ride, it was a bit too rocky for my taste!), 7 pools (or more I lost count), the eight million water slides, man made lagoon, gorgeous beach, huge aquarium made to look like the lost city of Atlantis, shark tanks, and much much more we definitely didn't have enough time to see it all but it was a great day that we will never forget!
The first few pictures are the view pulling up to Nassau from our balcony on the boat. I highly, highly recommend to get a balcony if you have plans to cruise. It is worth the extra cost to see these kind of views... The view of the Atlantis as we were docking. Isn't the water unbelievable!?
On the bridge walking from the beach to the hotel.
This picture of my boys is one of my favorites. Behind them is the man-made lagoon.
William was obsessed with throwing sand this trip. I think he practically blinded a boy in Cocoa Beach.
Big Sissy trying to convince William to get in the pool.
The water was a little cold for Emma.
Adrienne will be mad at me for posting this picture. Sorry:), but they looked so cute holding hands walking into the lagoon.
Emma's loved watching the sharks. This was the tank that some of the water slides went through. Colin was the only one brave enough to try the shark infested slides.

Oh wow!! That is just gorgeous!! I can't wait to see what's next!
Great pictures!! And I can't believe they had shark infested waters right below the slides, Colin is VERY brave! Looks like you guys had a blast!
Okay, were the sharks in the water with the slide or a clear tube passing through the shark infested tank? Looking for clarification - Assuming Collin wasn't in any danger!! LOL
Oh yes, it is a tube that goes through the shark infested water. I actually went on the slide on our honeymoon.
But am WAY to old for that now. It really is scary!!!
So, no he was in no danger.
Although, some days I feel like feeding him to the sharks :)
I'm checking deals at this place weekly and have been FOREVER so that we can get our gang there! These photos make me want to go even worse!
The water is simply gorgeous and I'm glad you guys had the chance for a quick, fun in-and-out. The kids will never forget it!!
