Reaching New Heights

Colin turns eight tomorrow and I just cannot believe it. As we were decorating our tree last night I saw him up on the latter and it just hit me. I cannot believe how grown up he is and how much he has changed this year. Although he has become so much more independent this year he also LOVES spending time with his family. He is so enthusiastic about life (and everything). The boy has got some serious energy these days. I am so proud of him in so many ways. He is a free thinker and has his own unique interests and isn't afraid to share them with others.

Colin, you make me proud to be your mom! I can't wait to spend your special day with you and I hope you have so much fun at your party, which you have been so incredibly excited about!!!
