Tis' the Season

It was a festive day around here! I love this time of year, but boy is it busy! That partly being my fault because there are so many fun things to do and yes, if you haven't noticed, we like to try and do them all :) (Still working on that JUST SAY NO thing around here.)
We started the day with a trip down to the Ohio theatre to see a shortened version of The Nutcracker. There were TONS of school groups but we lucked out with our tiny home school group of twelve. They fit us in center stage, I am guessing row 8 or 9. REALLY awesome seats!!!
We headed to Panera to pick up a quick lunch, went home, put William to bed, and got to work on some cookies that Adrienne has to take to a party tomorrow.
I was able to run a few errands while William snoozed and Adrienne worked on some of her independent school work. We are going to be wrapping things up around here as far as school goes next week. Probably Tues. because we are having a Daisy Scout party here Fri. and I must clean, clean, clean! The house needs some serious TLC right now!!!
Because of the amount of energy my kids have had lately, (you gotta remember just a couple of months ago they were outside non-stop) we decided to go to Creekside to check out the lights and take a family walk. Oh, how we miss our hikes at the Metro Parks!
We are looking forward to a fun-filled weekend of parties, church, holiday art workshops, some shopping and hopefully if I'm lucky a little wrapping.
And now, after all that babbling I am being called to the basement for a movie night.
