Before the Sun Went Down

I have finally found a free minute to get a few photos up from Red White and Boom.
It has been such a busy weekend here, and I have taken so many photos I may be blogging about the 4th until Christmas.
We arrived downtown around 8. It took us over an hour just to get downtown. But we had amazing seats right by Kevin's office and right in front of the stage on Nationwide Blvd. I ventured off a little with the big kids but it was SO crowded! I haven't been around that many people at once for a very long time. In fact, we are a family that avoids crowds at all costs so this was a real change of pace for us. Thank goodness Kevin's office is right there, so we went up for a bit and hung out.
Colin loved checking out the view from his office window.
But most of the time we just hung out on our over sized blue tarp. The kids had a ball just playing and being silly, and eating. And did I mention eating. With all the food we packed I felt like we were going away for the weekend. Colin and Rhyse actually sitting. I had to snag that photo because it doesn't happen often. These two are usually on the move.
William rarely left Greer's side the whole evening. Imagine that.
William and Rhyse love to wrestle and act goofy together.
The honeybees enjoyed some snuggle time on the blankets together.
As dusk was upon us the kids got a little wild. And boy were they excited for the fireworks.
Those photos up next...my house needs some TLC right now!
