Angel Oak again...

This is where my little people wanted to go while the big kids were on their fishing trip. This and ICE CREAM, it doesn't take much to make them happy. "I want to go back to the giant tree" Emma said.
She loves it and I must admit this tree is quite magical! It is the oldest living thing east of the Mississippi, between 300-400 years old. Nature's best playground ever. Except there is no climbing on the branches which took some serious self control from William. But we managed, and bribing them with ice cream sure helped. If you are ever down this way...Charleston, Johns Island, Kiawah area check this out...oh...and it is FREE, which is way less expensive than the Children's Museum I was planning on taking them to.
On the agenda tomorrow...we were going to head to a plantation but it is going to be 80 here and I think we are going to spend the day at the beach instead! We need to soak up the sunshine while we can...I hear it is going to get COLD back home and we will be there before we know it!
