The Daisy's Have a Tea Party

We ended our first Daisy year with a tea party at Cathy's. I honestly cannot believe how fast this first year of being a leader flew by. I had such a blast with these girls and thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of these sweet girls !
We started our last official meeting with the flag ceremony, pledge of allegiance, and girl scout promise. After circle time the girls divided into two groups of four...one group working on thank you notes to parents, and the other working on a craft that taught them the proper way to set a place setting.
Next, the tea party began. Adrienne and Liz passed around all the the yummy treats the girls brought to share one at a time and the girls practiced using their best manners and etiquette.
They did a superb job!!!
Cathy, it has been so wonderful to work with you , and I am looking very forward to another year of girl scouts!!!
To the girls in my troop...you have been a pleasure to get to know, and have learned and grown so much throughout the year. I am looking forward to making our scrapbooks this summer and kicking off another fun year in Sept.
