Our Surprise Houseguest

My mom had an accident the other day and fell on the ice. With my dad being out of town and the dr. saying she should not be alone she came to stay with us for the night. After going to the emergency room we drove to her house to get Kendall (her dog ) and brought them home. Colin got his room cleaned and ready for GaGa's arrival. My kids were (to say the least) excited that she was staying with us. They really took great care of her. Between snacks in bed, crushed ice and fresh ice water every five minutes there was no hospital that would have taken better care of her. On top of that she had poetry read to her by Adrienne, books read by Colin, and some serious snuggling from Emma. They were so sad to see her leave that we drove to her house to bring her back today and as I am writing this they are watching Little House on the Prairie and are in "GaGa heaven".
