Look what Colin came home with yesterday! Yes, if you count them it is TWENTY tadpoles! Really? Are you serious??
Kevin took him to his company picnic at a park in Hilliard and this is what he brings home??
"Why did you let him bring them ALL home" I ask. "Why not just a couple instead of TWENTY?" I ask again. "Remember how long it took to clean out the toad cage last week, and I'm still traumatized from the "escape artist" frog on the steps!".
"He was just so excited, and he said he might release some in our creek", he replies.
Obviously my wonderful husband forgets who he's dealing with. As I've said before Colin literally falls in love with all these creatures everywhere. Once he sees them he thinks of them as his own and himself as their savior! There is no way in you know what he is releasing anything, anywhere! We'll be lucky if he follows through with giving one to his sisters and best friend!(Remember to bring your container Monday Angi.)
And so I am the proud owner of twenty tadpoles! Well, gotta go! I'm off to the pet store to buy crickets and tadpole food.

Oh my! You are one lucky Mama! ;)
GROAN! My kids are literally elbowing each other out of the way to see Colin's tadpoles!! WOW, those are HUGE!
Sigh. Will come with bucket in hand. Rhyse is DELIGHTED that Colin is (we think :)) willing to share with him!
Me...not so much ;)
All I can say is....you are so nice. I would have made them stay out on the deck and fight to live. Sorry, tadpoles!
That's a lot of, very large, tadpoles. And you guys think I am unflappable. . .really?
Jenny, you get the unflappable award of the week! I would so not allow those things in my house!!
