The Amish Way

Here are the rest of our photos from Walnut Creek Farm.
After driving through to feed the animals (which took almost two hours) we decided to explore the farm a bit.
We went though the farm house, took a quick peak in the outdoor "zoo", and just observed the beauty and simplicity of this lifestyle that is so different from our own!
It was inspiring to see the grounds so well kept and best of all "CLUTTER FREE"! It made me want to purge everything I own, buy a copy of Real Simple magazine, and start over!
In fact, it was a little depressing to go from a clean, simple, closet free Amish bedroom to our bedrooms which are stuffed to the brink with WAY TO MUCH STUFF!!!
In conclusion, we absolutely LOVED this place and will be going back for sure. My kids loved everything about our little day trip and have already asked when we will return, which I'm thinking will be this winter for a sleigh ride around the farm!

I have never seen an albino deer before. This was neat!
I had to get a couple pictures of the tortoise so that I could remember the image of my son walking right up to him saying "ROCK". Oh, yes he climbed the little wall, got right into his cage and was ready to climb this so called rock. Yikes, I've never ran so fast in my life!

The gardens were beautiful. The kids loved the waterfall the best.
Emma fell in love with this farm cat. They became great friends real fast!

Wish my families shoes were this neat!

I wish I could be simpler too! But there are some things I just love too much!
