Some stops along the way

We went to Amish Country and Walnut Creek Farm (thank you so so much for the recommendation Angi) on Saturday and I have so many pictures to post. It may even warrant a couple of posts but I wanted to put up some photos from our drive home first. We saw this sign on the way home and decided to turn around and take a peek. It seems when we are traveling we always see advertisements for different things and wish we had the time to stop but we are usually desperately searching for a bathroom, food, or someone has a dirty diaper (you know what I mean) and the timing is just not right. Well this time the stars were aligned (we were poop free, our bladders were empty, and no one was starving) so we stopped to take a peak at Ohio's longest covered bridge which overlooked the Mohican River. The bridge is right off the road so it only took a minute to get there.

Aren't my people a good looking bunch!

Colin is "poop jumpin". There must have been some serious horses taking this path earlier in the day!

Good old brown Ohio water.

Our second little stop was not so much spur of the moment. We saw the sign for the ice cream factory that we visited a couple of weeks ago on our way there and knew we had to stop for a treat on the way home.

The kids couldn't believe we got to go there twice in one summer. Lucky them!!!

Well that's it for now! Stay tuned for some CRAZY animal photos from Walnut Creek Farm!

We saw that bridge sign too and turned around but then realized that we had to unload the whole gang and...NOPE! Missed the bridge! So glad to see it now though ;)

And can't wait to see all your crazy photos! So happy you guys made the journey there and hoped you all liked it. (But I know your kids and already know they loved it :))

PS...am having ice cream envy. Saw that sign too but kept going. Grrrr.
