But seriously, this place was so neat! Thank you again Angi for letting us know about this gem off the beaten path. We would have never found it without you!
We had the BEST day! I laughed so hard my stomach literally hurt the next day.
Here is our day in pictures... This guy was huge! He would've been right in the car if I let him but instead he chose to put some scratches in my nice big suburban. Look at the size of these horns. (These pictures of him were suppose to be at the end but I messed things up. Sorry.)
So this is really where the journey starts...
We've got our feed and we're ready to go!
This is what we saw when driving up the hill to enter what Kevin called "Jurassic Park". He was sure that these giant birds were going to spread their wings and take a bite out of him!
Colin had no idea just how domesticated these ostriches actually were. They were really hungry!
Wow, I can't even describe how aggressive these birds really were. They ate a whole bucket full of food and were pecking so hard that food was flying all over my car. (I don't think I have laughed this hard in a really long time.) We couldn't get them out of the car! We had to roll the window up with their neck still in the car. These guys are relentless!
The babies were so sweet. Unlike their crazed mamas!
Taking a lazy afternoon dip in their pool.
They don't want to miss anything.
Isn't this tiny baby cow adorable. We can't believe how many babies we saw!
King of his throne.
There were lots of baby pigs. It's hard to tell from these pictures but they were really tiny.
We were told not to feed the zebra. They had no interest in us anyway.
Hello friend.
Even William got to feed the gentle llama and deer.
The llamas were Emma's favorite.
Wow I see something really big!
This guy wasn't scared of us! But I wasn't so sure. He was on my side of the car and just a little too close for me!
Look at all the slime he left on my windows.
The giraffes were beautiful. Such gentile giants they are!
William loved everything about this trip! He wanted to feed and pet every animal he could. I think he would have moved right in with all the animals if we would have let him.
In fact, he managed to sneak in with a tortoise at their outdoor zoo! (No, I am not joking! We looked over and he was IN the tortoise cage!)
We were finally done with our long drive. But how do we get out with these giants blocking the road???
We finally made it through, and I have to say that I highly, highly recommend this place! We had a blast and we will, no doubt, be going back soon!
And, there are more pictures to come...

That ostrich looked really mad at you, Jenny ;) I don't think they liked how they look in pictures!
And the big bull....ewwwww slime!
Your kids look like they really enjoyed themselves! I really need to carve out some time to take my crew up there!
What a neat place!!! My crew would love something like that!!
You got some GREAT photos!! And yes, don't you remember MY zebra photos? They weren't interested in us either...they were so consumed with one another! (Remember? Baby making, zebra-style?!)
And that one psycho ostrich that wanted my hubby? YIKES, freaky birds!!
So happy you liked the place! We can't wait to go back too!
And I've GOT to hear the William toroise story! (I bet he was in animal HEAVEN here!!)
